I will look to the mountains, Where will my help come from? My help will come from the Lord who made heaven and earth Psalm 121:1-2
Have you ever gone on Pilgrimage? Each year Grace Church takes a pilgrimage to the Green Mountains of Vermont. A pilgrimage is a journey in search of the Holy. How long has it been since you have had a really good laugh? How long has it been since you have had time for yourself? How long has it been since you have seen Christ in another person? How long has it been since you have really played and had fun? How long has it been since God has spoken to you from the mountains, or in the wind, or stars, or sunset, or in a gentle rain? How long since the sound of another's singing has comforted and strengthened your soul? How long since you have felt you have really grown in faith and in your life in Christ?
If it has been too long, this is your opportunity to join this year's Adult Vermont Retreat. no previous camping experience is required. We have one of the Church's most gifted musicians and a priest with a great spirit, Father Bruce Stewart, leading our music for us. The dates are in July 2005. Speak with Mother Joan if you have questions. Better still, send your name, address, phone number and a $100 deposit, make your plans and join us. The cost will be $250 for the week. Some scholarship help will be available. |
